About

We think fans should be able to pay the people they watch

That is roughly the whole idea. Everything else is plumbing.

Sport is the last thing a lot of people genuinely care about, and the money in it flows almost entirely past the people doing the actual thing. A goal gets watched by four hundred thousand people and there is no way for any of them to say that was worth something to me other than a retweet.

We built the shortest path we could between those two facts. One link, one tap, no app in the way. Most athletes on here will make small amounts and that is genuinely fine — the point is that the option exists, and that on the night something enormous happens, it is already in place.

We are not trying to be a brand-deal marketplace, and we are not an NIL compliance vendor. Those are real businesses and other people are doing them. This is a place for the relationship between an athlete and the people who watch them, with a payment button in it.

How we try to behave

Four things we've committed to

No hidden fees, in either direction

Fans are charged the amount they picked. Athletes see both deductions itemised on every single transaction. If we ever want to change that, it goes on the fees page before it goes in the product.

Anyone can start

No application, no committee, no minimum following. Verification changes your rate, not your access. The gate was the thing that broke the last version of this.

Say the uncomfortable part

Unverified athletes keep 50% and we don't refund the difference later. That's a real cost and we put it on the page in plain words rather than in a footnote.

A quiet athlete costs nothing

No monthly fee and no penalty for a season where you didn't post. We built the infrastructure so that carrying you through a quiet year costs us almost nothing, which is what lets us mean it.
